I used 3ds Max and Chaos Vray to render this sequence using 6 computers (144 cores total). The first sequence is a still rendering where only people, fountains, and slot machines are animated using a render layer mask (in Vray masking options) to save render time which was 12 hours. In after effects I put the animated layer on top of the still rendering and created a subtle zooming-in effect to get move movement in the scene. The render time for the second sequence was about 30 hours.
